I am still in the middle of that dispute three months later. Perhaps if you don't want to deal with people who make reservations online through booking agents you should allow people to actually make reservations when they call you to make reservations. Not only will I never stay here again, I am filing claims with the BBB and several other agencies on their shady business practices.
There are tons of hotels in this area and if you are reading this do yourself a favor and find another one.
The hotel room was really clean and nice. Everything was new and didn't look dingy or old. The hotel staff was really accommodating and nice, even at 1am. The breakfast wasn't as good as some of the other Hyatts I've stayed in but it was pretty busy the weekend I stayed. The proximity to the Aquarium is great and there are a couple restaurants and bars next to it that are nice

Nice place, friendly staff. The included breakfast was very good with some interesting choices. Clean room, good water pressure in shower, waterfront view.
We book our reservation and then show up with our credentials. They ask for a credit card for damages which we hand over as this is normal. We stay in the hotel, which was unremarkable but sufficient, and leave not thinking twice about the issues we were going to have for months. A few days later we notice the hotel themselves charged us for the one night stay in addition to the online booking agent. I called the hotel to have them reverse the charge, which they agreed to do over the phone and we go on our merry way. Two weeks later I notice the charge has not been removed so I go to my credit card company's fraud department and tell them to dispute the charge.
Do you like paying twice for the same hotel room? If so you've found the right place!
Very nice hotel. Big suite, confortable amenities, and conveniently located for a wedding at the aquarium next door. I don't think it's nice enough to warrant the price though. It's priced similar to the Fox Hollow which is on another level.
We tried to book our reservation directly with the hotel to attend a friend's wedding only to be told they had no vacancies. We then went on to to book the room only to find they did indeed have a room for that night and it was actually cheaper than they were able to offer over the phone! Sounds like a real win right? Wrong!
