Being the runt, one of our kittens wasn't growing like the other, and took a sudden turn for the worse even with round the clock care, and trips to a different vet. One morning he was very lethargic, and we rushed him to get help as he was clearly dying.
Recently, we rescued two orphaned feral kittens- they were flea ridden, starving, and found abandoned in an appartment complex. We did not want to delay getting them checked, so we brought them to see Hanush since the office was closest. He quickly looked them over, announced they were fine, over estimated their age by two weeks (turns out they still needed milk) Then he charged a ridiculous price for the visit, and sold us over priced canned food that made them sick.
Our most recent trip to see Dr. Hanush was a disgusting reminder of why we no longer take our pets to his office after nearly 14 years.
At a difficult time for my family, they took considerable care to be comforting.
We love Dr hanush..i have been taking my bulldog there since she was 8 weeks old, she's now 10. She loves visiting Dr hanush even when she's not feeling well.
We nearly cost him his life by bringing him to Hanush who hardly batted an eye, and told us he would almost certainly die. He was to give him a B12 shot and keep him warm- but he said the outlook was bleak. After taking him without even letting us say goodbye, we made the quick descisions to take him elsewhere which saved his life!
I just got a new puppy and she caught a cold and was also having stomach Issues. I just moved out this way and the vet I usually go to was in Queens. I gave them a call and they helped me that day. The staff was amazing and so helpful and the Doctors were great. You know you found a good vet when you see other pets coming out of the room with a wagging tail. They made me feel so comfortable and continue to help me days after to make sure my Coco was getting better. I totally recommend this veterinary hospital. Everyone there are absolutely amazing!!

Fast forward nearly 2 weeks, and our sweet boy is finally putting on weight (with recommendations of Steve from The Geeen Earth for herbal healing) and his trip to the Er Vet in Riverhead whose immediate care saved him from the beginning stages of cardiac arrest due to becoming hyperglycemic, 12 hours in their care helped him stabilize his blood sugar and body tempature. We are so very lucky he is thriving today, and no thanks to Hanush who would've had him in the ground.
