Visited the Riverhead store yesterday. Great selection of all types of shoes and other footware. Prices seem very reasonable. In the rear of the store was a large sales sections with discounts ranging from 20% to 75%. I would recommend giving DSW a shot.
The shoes maybe look the same as department stores maybe have the same name but they are not the same the quality is not the same.
If you've got the need for a shoe fix, DSW is the place to satisfy it. Huge selection of both men's and women's shoes from everyday sporty to stylish dress. Some accessories to boot.
I have always had a good experience at DSW until today. I shopped there today to take advantage of the free weekend bag that was being given away to Rewards members. The associate asked me if I was a member, my purchase qualified me for the gift but when I asked about it she said she had already rang up the purchase and it was too late to do anything and anyway I needed a coupon. When I told her I thought i had one on my phone she was visibly vexed. The WiFi in the store was very slow and it required me to download the app to get the coupon. She said I'd have to come back, pushed my bag aside and called "next" to the person behind me. Not even a thank you.
Bed qualities very expensive no service.
