I suggest getting there early in the day and take into consideration that between 12 & 2 are lunch breaks so you may have a wait. It's cash or check only so don't bring a debit or credit card they are not accepted. If you are planning on doing a property search get there early and bring cash, singles are best if you want to make copies because their machines do not take coin and doesn't give change. They will give you a booklet on how to use the computer to do a search, but you may have to use the books and microfilm machine. Bring the tax map # of the property with you it will make your trip more successful. You can get that by calling the town the property is in. As long as you are nice they will be nice don't go in with an attitude because then you will not get no help. It's a research place they will not research for you but will guide you on how to do a search.
From the entrance they will kindly guide you and tell you where to go.
The staff is rude and don't give you any information over the phone, so you are lost if you want to know the steps to record a deed,good luck going to this office!
